Cruise Lines season in Ukraine started!
The first cruise ship visited Odesa this year!
The passenger cruise liner Europe 2 docked at the pier of Odesa on 12th of May. Majority of the guests were Germans – 244, total number of the passengers – 300. The vessel belongs to the Hapag Lloyd company, has Malta’s flag (Valletta) and makes a journey in the Black Sea visiting such ports of call as Istanbul (Turkey) – Nessebar (Bulgaria) – Sochi (Russia) – Odesa (Ukraine) – Istanbul (Turkey).
This cruise liner used to come to Ukraine twice in 2014, on 16th of September and 8th of October. The cruise liner Europa of the Hapag Lloyd company was also the first passenger vessel in Ukraine last year – it docked in Odesa on 23rd of April, 2015.
The guests enjoyed the sightseeing of Uspensky Monastery, Nerubajsk village catacombs, visited well-known Odesa National Academy Theater of Opera and Ballet, and of course wandered in cozy and colorful city of Odesa. As foreign tourists informed they loved the welcoming atmosphere of the Jewel of the Black Sea (Odesa) and will be coming back again.
